hahaaaaaaa, the fancy dress gig for local rock legends D.monic was awesome! Ant, Jim, Matt and I turn up at the pub an hour early and as we get there we see some of the other people who are going.. and notice NO ONE is in fancy dress apart from us.. so Matt rips off his cape and adjusts his hair so he doesn't look like a vampire anymore.. oh yah.. I haven't told you what everyone went as... well Matt was meant to be a vampire but he ditched his costume as he didn't wanna look like a weirdo.. (like taking a cape off will change that!) Jim went as his own creation... PANTS MAN! hahaaaa, was a kick ass idea on paper, he cut a hole in the bum area of his jeans, then stick his head through that whole so his head would come out of the waist whole.. and had the legs dangling behind him like a cape.. LoL, then he was meant to have boxers on his head, and cut eye holes in them.. but he tried and it didn't look all that good... so he just wore his hat instead... then Ant and I went as the 118 118 dudes from those UK adverts! LoL, they're soooo funny! although that site isn't very funny compared to the adverts on TV.. anyways, had a great night! We sat in the car park waiting for the pub to open for the gig.. and some of the local skater guys turned up we semi-knew.. one guy wouldn't stop hugging me and Ant and saying how this is his happiest day ever, meeting the actual 118 guys... lol, then one of his friends wanted to see which 118 guy was most flammable and kept trying to set out hair on fire... slightly disturbing... but I didn't mind... my hair was a wig.. Ant used his actual hair! lol, well we stand and chat for a while and some people I know online from the local area turn up so we chat with them.. then Super Dude from our forum (see my site) comes in his pirate costume.. MAN! It was the greatest ever! He looked sooooooooo cool, he had the costume perfect! and he even glued a fluffy parrot to his shoulder! He had a sword too, lol, and a periscope ^_^ Major rockage. So we're all sitting in the cold talking (occasionaly me and Ant run around being chased by that dude trying to set us on fire...) then some townies fags start on us... man.. I so hate townies.. what is their problem anyways? Just because we dress drifferent to them and like different music they feel they can put us down all the time in streets, spit at us, throw things, beat us up... man........ they start lobbing eggs at us and come over calling us the usual names (yah, most of us weren't in costume) so we kinda run away, but poor KiZ trips over a barrier and they drag him round by his hair til he breaks free.. so we re-group with the other rockers in side the pub where it was safe ^_^ But they still somehow cut my knee... I dunno how.. well anyways, they were giving us abuse all night form outside the pub, when D.monic came on they were like " yeah, we here you got some trouble form some townies w*nkers earlier... after 3 lets give them one big 'f*uck off'" lol, never heard a swear word be chanted so loud... haha, man, D.monic rocked so much, was a great night, although near the end they announced the townies are still outside and bigger in numbers... so we chanted some more swear words at them, lol, luckily they'd left by the time we came to leave.. although one guy took a chair home just incase anyone started, lol!

The next day at work..... wow... the amount of people who noticed me! I'm the new guy at work so everyone ignores me and don't really talk to me.. but a lot of people who saw me now talk to me quite a bit hehe, one girl was sitting behind us while we were in the mosh and she goes to her friends "those 118 guys in the pit have teh best costume ever! hahahaaa" and they go to her "yeah, that's Tom in Accounts at work!" and she was like =O lol, hehe, she told me today we had te best costumes there ^_^ hahaaa, was a great costume if I do say so, we looked just like them in the dark ;p hahaaaaa

Oh oh! We have Final Fantasy XI in at work! I went down to the warehouse and stroked the box while no one looked, was tempted to kiss it but thought that was pushing it too far ~_^ lol

Oh, that reminds me! Pro Evoloution Soccer 3... LOL, where i work they've sold 2000+ copies of the cheat CD for the game... which the creator is calling back as they noticed the cheat CD unlocks a hidden message on the Manchester United players shirts that the games programmer put in thinking no one would ever see it.. but the cheat CD unlocks it.. hahaaaaaa, their teams shirts are full of insults and swear words as the games programmer is anti Man U, lol. They either had to remarket the game as an 18+ rating for the swearing or call back the cheat CDs, heh. Oh yah, programmer got sacked too.... lol
